This sauce can be served with steak, chicken, vegetables, or almost anything else you like.

Ingredients

Method

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, add brandy and prunes and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half (to remove the alcohol).
  2. Add cream and stock concentrate and stir to combine. Bring back to the boil then simmer to reduce sauce until the desired consistency is reached.
  3. Finish with pepper and serve.
